A free habit tracker that makes progress feel good.
Daylo is a free personal habit tracker for daily routines, goals, and measurements. Log a habit in one tap, watch your progress ring fill, and see your consistency grow with streaks, badges, and analytics.
What is Daylo?
Daylo brings the satisfaction of closing a progress ring to the rest of your life. It started with a simple idea: the effort you put into journaling, reading, studying, and looking after yourself should be visible too. A completed ring gives your daily actions a place to land.
You choose what matters. Add a check-off habit for journaling or a numeric habit for pages read, steps, weight, or manually logged calorie intake. Your daily dashboard keeps these actions together, rather than making you switch between several tracking systems.
Track habits and numbers in one place
Some habits need a yes or no: did you journal today? Others need a number: how many pages did you read? Daylo supports both. Create your own categories and units, arrange habits in the order you use them, and adjust the goals as your routine changes.
For numeric goals, choose whether reaching at least a target or staying at most a target counts as completion. A reading habit might use pages; a screen-time habit might use minutes. Weight and calories are manual personal logs, without automatic device imports or meal calculations.
See your daily progress ring fill
Each completed habit contributes to your daily progress. The ring shows completed habits against your total, so you can quickly see what is still waiting. It is a view of the habits you configured, rather than a grade on your health or productivity.
Start with a routine you can actually repeat. Two useful habits are easier to learn from than a long list you never open. If your needs change, update your tracker instead of treating the original plan as a permanent obligation.
Build streaks with room to restart
Current and longest streaks help you recognize repeated effort. Daylo can bridge one isolated missed day, while two consecutive missed days break the run. A bridged missed day does not increase the streak count: four completed days, a miss, and four more completed days count as eight.
Milestone medallions mark streaks of 3, 7, 14, 30, and 100 completed days. Missed days use amber in the interface. The purpose is to make returning feel possible and to show the effort you have already put in.
Understand your progress with analytics
Your daily view answers what happened today. Weekly and monthly analytics answer a different question: what has been happening over time? Review completion rates, previous-period comparisons, numeric entries, averages, and your calendar history.
A lower completion rate can be useful information. Perhaps the goal is too ambitious, the reminder arrives at the wrong time, or the habit no longer fits your day. Use the history to make a practical adjustment. Daylo records patterns; it does not promise that a chart will establish a habit for you.
Keep your routine flexible
You can add and remove habits, create categories, and reorder your dashboard. Track a morning routine, a study plan, a reading goal, or a few personal measurements. Set up the tracker around the actions you want to repeat, rather than around someone else’s ideal schedule.
Daylo works in your browser on desktop and mobile. Supported browsers can install it as a progressive web app. Opt-in web push adds evening nudges, weekly recaps, and milestone notifications where your device supports them.
Take your habit history with you
Download your recorded values as an Excel file from your profile. Keep a copy, look through your entries, or make your own charts. Google sign-in lets you return to your habit history from another device.
Your habits are saved with your account, rather than only on the device you are using. The privacy overview explains what Daylo saves and what you can control.
Start with three simple steps
- Sign in with Google. Open your personal dashboard in the browser.
- Choose a small set of habits. Keep useful defaults or create your own check-off and numeric habits.
- Log today and review later. Mark what you did, enter measurements, and use the weekly view to decide what to change.
Habit tracker questions, answered.
What is a habit tracker?
A habit tracker records recurring actions so you can see how consistently you do them. Daylo combines daily check-ins with numeric entries, progress rings, streaks, and analytics.
Is Daylo free?
Daylo is free to use, with no subscription or credit card required. Google sign-in is required to save your personal habit history.
Can I track weight and calories?
Yes. Create custom numeric habits with your own units, such as kilograms, pounds, or kcal, and enter your values manually. Daylo is a personal log; it does not provide a food database, barcode scanner, automatic calorie calculation, or Apple Health synchronization.
How do streaks work?
Daylo shows current and longest streaks for each habit. One isolated missed day can bridge completed days; two consecutive missed days break the run. Only completed days count toward the streak length.
Can I customize my habits?
Yes. Create categories, add check-off or numeric habits, choose units, set goals, and reorder habits. Numeric goals can be at least a target or at most a target.
What analytics can I see?
See weekly and monthly completion rates, comparisons with previous periods, daily values, and a calendar of your history. Numeric habits also show averages for the selected period.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Download your recorded habit values as an Excel workbook from your profile. You can keep a copy or use it for your own analysis.
Does Daylo send reminders?
On supported browsers, you can opt into web push notifications for evening progress nudges, weekly recaps, and achievement milestones. Permission and browser support are required; notifications are not guaranteed on every device.
Can I use Daylo on my phone?
Yes. Daylo runs in a mobile browser and can be installed as a progressive web app on supported devices. There is no separate app-store download required.
Is Daylo a task manager?
Daylo focuses on recurring habits and daily measurements. Use a task manager for one-off deadlines, dependencies, and team projects; use Daylo to record the routines you repeat.
